A 12-year-old girl arrived at emergency unit in acute confusional state. She had a sudden onset of dizziness, nausea, vomiting, left fronto-temporal headache with right head and arm haemiparesis. Clinical examination and imaging were negative. Electroencephalography revealed aspecific disfunction and left cerebral suffering, without signs of epileptic seizures. Since her father experienced a similar episode, we diagnosed an onset of familiar haemiplegic migraine (FHM).
